During his working visit to Moscow, Rustam Minnikhanov meets Head of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations Yevgeny Zinichev

On August 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Moscow to meet Russian Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disasters Relief Yevgeny Zinichev.

Tatarstan President informed Zinichev that during FIFA World Cup matches hold in Kazan, the forces of the Ministry took part in ensuring the security of six matches at the Kazan Arena stadium. Over one million fans, including 75,000 foreign citizens, visited matches of the World Cup in Kazan.

During the championship, there were no emergency situations and events related to the threat against its guests and participants.

At their meeting, the parties also discussed the financial aspects of the work of the Ministry in Tatarstan. It was noted that much attention is paid to the development of the federal forces and resources of the Ministry in the region. Over 2b 200m roubles were allocated from the regional budget for these purposes in the last seven years.

These funds were reallocated to the construction, reconstruction, capital and current repair of buildings (181 facilities), the purchasing of vehicles (49 units), equipment, fuel, aircraft maintenance, taxes, medical rehabilitation of employees of federal units (and their families) in the regional rehabilitation centre of the Ministry and for other purposes.

The participants of the meeting discussed a number of key issues on ensuring security in Tatarstan.
