On August 7, in the regional public reception office of Russian President in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhnov held a regular reception of citizens with participation of municipal regions of the republic by video-link.
A young dweller from Lashchi village of Buinsk region addressed Minnikhanov first. He asked Tatarstan President to assist in the arrangement of a universal sports ground in his native village. Minnikhanov gave an errand to Minister of Sports of the republic Vladimir Leonov to organize the construction of a sports facility under the relevant regional programme in Lashchi.
A large family from Muslyumovo region of the republic, who bring up nine adopted children, five of them are children with special needs, said that they need a minibus to take all the children to school and kindergarten in the morning.
Minnikhanov thanked the parents of many children, noting that they have chosen a difficult and noble mission for themselves, requiring very great efforts. Tatarstan President assured them that a vehicle will be provided soon. Minnikhanov called the leadership of Muslyumovo region for providing overall support to this family.
A craftsman from Pestretsy region asked Minnikhanov to support his project to make game dolls in Tatar national costumes. Dolls are equipped with special sound modules, thanks to which they can speak Tatar and perform Tatar folk songs. These toys are of interest among representatives of kindergartens.
Minnikhanov appreciated this initiative. Playing with talking dolls will help children learn the Tatar language from an early age, he said.
At the end of the meeting, Minnikhanov met a young bayan-player from Kazan. Next year the student plans to enter a music college. He needs a professional button accordion for rehearsals. The musician's mother, who brings up two children alone, can not afford purchasing the instrument.
Minnikhanov promised to give the young boy a new button accordion. In return, the young man demonstrated his ability to play the accordion.
